As an idea, developing an Irish setter breeding program goes back a long way with me. Mrs. Crawford probably planted the seed when she described the benefits of incorporating the lineage of Knockross O’Boy with her Shannon line. Over the years, study and observation have played a part in augmenting my foundation and apprenticeship in the breed. Continually thinking of goals for the breeding of Irish setters, I decided to initiate a breeding program with the following goals:
Great personalities as pets.
Active, athletic, and well-balanced dogs….
enriching the beautiful kinetic sculptures that are Irish setters.
